Welcome to Volant Poetry. We are honored to share your unique voice with our community. To ensure quality and authenticity, please follow these guidelines carefully when submitting your poems.
Important Notice
Only poems written by the author themselves are allowed. No AI generated poems will be accepted. Violating these rules will result in 3 warnings; after the third warning, your account will be terminated.
General Guidelines
- All submissions must be your original work.
- Ensure your poem is free of plagiarism or copied content.
- Poems can be of any style or length, but clarity and readability are encouraged.
- Each user may submit multiple poems, but each must be unique.
Collaborators & Co Authors
- You may invite other Volant Poetry users to collaborate on a poem.
- When submitting a collaborative poem, you can select one or more collaborators from the platform.
- All collaborators will be credited on the poem page and in search results.
- Each collaborator must have an active Volant Poetry account.
- Collaborators cannot edit a poem after submission unless the original author.
- For poems with multiple authors, all listed collaborators must have contributed meaningfully to the work.
How collaborator selection works: On the submission form, you will find a "Select Collaborators" field where you can search for and add usernames of other Volant Poetry members. Collaborators will receive a notification and the poem will appear on their profile as a co authored piece.
Community Respect
- Respect other poets and readers; no hate speech or harmful content.
- Maintain a constructive and encouraging tone.
- Content violating these rules may be removed without notice. Repeat violations may result in warnings and eventual account termination.
How to Submit Your Poem
Before submitting, make sure you are signed in to your Volant Poetry account. Once signed in, follow these steps:
- Locate the Submit tab in the main navigation, or go to your Profile Page and find the Submit option under Volant Quick.
- Click Submit to open the submission form.
- Fill out the form with the following details:
- Title: The title of your poem.
- Content: The body of your poem.
- Categories: Select relevant categories for your poem.
- Collaborators: Search and select other Volant Poetry users who co authored this poem with you.
- Once all fields are complete, click Submit to send your poem for review.
By submitting your poem, you confirm that it is your original work and that you comply with our guidelines. Thank you for helping us maintain a genuine, creative, and safe space for poetry lovers.
